Training

Coaching Sessions: 8 Indoor Sessions
Frequency: 1 Hour Session per Week
Class Size: 4 – 8 Riders

Rider Workbook and Training Log Included.

Aerobic Base Training

Build it Right! This indoor cycling program will help you build a solid aerobic base that will be the foundation for your fitness all year. Your coach will guide you through a progressive cycling-specific training program and teach you proper breathing techniques, how to maximize your training with target intensity zones and developing muscular endurance.

Cycling-Specific Skills and Techniques

Each program is taught by a certified USA Cycling coach who will help you develop a powerful and efficient pedal stroke, use correct form for both seated and standing efforts and maximize your performance and comfort through proper bike fit. You will also learn techniques for sprinting, climbing and cadence.

Periodization Training

Learn the value of a program that allows you to develop through a progressive series of training efforts and focuses to achieve your fitness goals. Periodization is used by most of today’s top athletes. Your coach will help you put these concepts to work in your personal training plan.

Personal Attention

Each coaching session is limited to 4 to 8 riders to allow your coach to provide individual attention. Riders will be asked to complete a fitness survey and heart rate training worksheet so the coach will know each persons goals and how best to guide them through the program.
