Why Get Fit to Your Bike Any Other Way?
At Stage5 Cycling, all of our services are scientifically designed and research-based. Our bike fit is no exception. We use a detailed and objective fit process that utilizes precision laser-guided measurements, form and technique analysis and the latest in biomechanical research data. We also believe strongly in incorporating the individual needs of every cyclist based on their cycling history, goals and physical profile.
The combination of a precise bike fit with form and technical analysis and instruction is unique to Stage5 Cycling. First, the rider is correctly fitted to the bike, taking into account their individual requirements, then, a certified USA Cycling coach will work with you to address inefficiencies in your technique and provide instruction on proper form and biomechanics. This is a 2+ hour service and can include riding on the road with a USA Cycling coach to observe and reinforce form and technique in a real world setting.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Bike fit is often overlooked or performed quickly when the bike is purchased, however it is this position that is the basis for not only comfort, but also power production and efficiency. A common sentiment is, “I’m not a pro cyclist, why do I need a bike fit?” All levels of cyclists benefit from bike fit, particularly beginner riders. It is an opportunity for the fitter (biomechanist) to educate the rider on all different aspects of cycling from what to wear, how to sit on the bike correctly, proper body position, basic cycling safety, how to use those clipless pedals, etc. It gives the beginning cyclist a safe and discreet environment to learn what would normally take months or years on their own. For more advanced cyclists, it is an opportunity to not only fine tune their position, but also to make vast improvements in performance through form and technique work. |
