Bike Fitting / Biomechanics

Pedal Stroke Analysis

Our biomechanics lab is equipped with SpinScan Computrainer software provided by Racermate. Sensors are attached to your bike that allow us to graphically display your pedal stroke on a flat panel TV in front of you. This allows us to identify and illustrate areas of your pedal stroke where power is inconsistent, as well as, make adjustments to increase overall power output. We can also determine if both legs are working equally. Often times after an injury or surgery, one leg works much harder than the other, causing biomechanical issues that can lead to increased back, hip and knee pain. With this real-time display, we can coach a rider toward a smooth and more efficient overall pedal stroke and an increase in power output.
